Early antique black and white engraved strip road map showing Norfolk, England. Published by the London Magazine, c. 1767. Includes towns, rivers, roads, churches, etc. Decorative border around a description of the road from King's Lynn to Norwich, continued to Yarmouth in Norfolk. Text at bottom describes Norfolk: "The air is sharp but healthy & the coldness of the climate causes the harvest to be later than in other parts. The soil is various..." Verso shows part of a road map to Harwich. Good to very good overall antique condition with mild toning and a few mild stains. Verso image slightly visible through the paper. Measures approximately 7.5 x 6 inches (H x W) to the paper edges.
