Antique printed color map of Rhode Island reproduced from the original painting by Ernest Clegg, published by the Country Life Magazine, 1925. Map was designed to look like an ancient map, with a decorative cartouche, compass rose, and pictorial illustrations around the map, as well as ships and sea monsters. Map also features passages of text throughout the map regarding historical events and facts. Includes a small paragraph of text below the map. Good overall antique condition, with very mild toning/wrinkling of the paper, one large crease at the bottom left, and some minor roughing of the outer edges. Measures approximately 11.25" x 7.75" (H x W) to the neatline. **SOLD**
