Uncolored reproduction of part of the Beaver Kill, or Beaverkill, River in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. The river has been popular as a trout stream since the early 19th century, when it became one of the first resort destinations in the United States. It is known for excellent fly fishing for trout. This map was produced in 1920 by Elliot L Chisling and features a decorative fishing-themed cartouche. Many fishing spots are identified on the map. approx. 12.75 x 35 inches to the edge of the printed area. Measured to the edges of the printed area. Paper may be larger but can be trimmed as needed.
