Antique printed color map published by the S.N.Y. Adirondack Survey, in their seventh report, 1879, showing the location of the observatory and headquarters on Lyon Mountain in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. With folds, as issued. Fair overall antique condition with toning throughout, noticeable water staining, and a minor tear at one of the folds (outside the neatline) which has been repaired. Measures approximately 9.75" x 11.5" (H x W) to the neatline.
