Antique map of Africa, by Herman Moll, 1727. This map includes part of the Nile and Lake Tzana (now Lake Tana) shown as the source of the Nile. Much of the middle of the African continent hadn't been thoroughly explored and mapped by Europeans at this time, so a great deal of the information on this map was likely guesswork. Very good overall antique condition with some toning and tight margin at bottom. Measures approx. 7.75 x 10.25 inches to the neatline.
