Migeon's "Geographie Universelle," 1884, one of the last hand colored atlases, in French, showing South America in the late 19th century, with engraved vignettes depiciting a "foret vierge" (virgin forest) and another of an idyllic coastal mountainside village; includes accompanying narrative page. Very good overall antique condition with minor foxing, measures approx. 14.5 x 11inches.
