Ships in the foreground emphasize the maritime history of the city, while the golden dome of the State House on the hill is visible in the distance along with notable church steeples and the Bunker Hill Monument on the right. This was before the South Boston Waterfront was created. Image is 7"w x 5" h, sheet with margin is 11 1/2"w x 9" inches. Very good overall antique condition with some minor spots.
