From the "Universal Atlas" of master cartographer Henry Schenck Tanner, hand colored engraved antique map of Asia in the mid-19th century, spanning from the Mediterranean to the Pacific Ocean, including the present-day Middle East, part of Russia, and all of the South Pacific islands, with an inset of Australia and a color key designating territories ruled by Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, Holland or independently ruled. Very good condition with some light foxing, mostly in margins, and a slight wrinkle to the page, approx. 11 x 14inches.
