This colored antique map was published in Letts's 1883 Popular Atlas, Being a Series of Maps Delineating the Whole Surface of the Globe, with Many Special and Original Features. Inset map shows England on the same scale. This map details The Malacca Isles, Java, Borneo, The Philippians, Celebes, Sumatra, Siam, and Burma. Showing major points of interest and geological features, it measures approximately 15.5 x 14 inches and is in good antique condition with some toning and foxing and discoloration at center fold. *Note: Attached on verso is a map of Africa.
