Antique hand colored map of the Empire of Alexander the Great, published by Fayard in the "Atlas Universel," 1877. Includes Turkey, Armenia, Mesopotamia, and much of the Middle East including Iraq and Israel. Map is written in French and includes topographical detail. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, and some minor foxing. Measures approximately 10.25" x 7.75" to the neatline.
