Genuine Antique Nautical Chart Restrike

Antique uncoloured nautical chart showing part of the Atlantic coast of North America, by US Coast & Geodetic Survey. From Cape Sable Island in Nova Scotia to Sandy Hook in New Jersey. The chart says that it was made in 1864 and updated to 1865, however, this chart is a restrike. Restrikes are later prints made using the original printing plates, which means that they are a more authentic â ‚¬Å“reproductionâ ‚¬  than any other type. This restrike was probably made in the early to mid 20th century. Good condition. Approx. 23.25 x 27.75 inches to the neatline.
