1898
Maker: Gannett.
Antique printed color page of two statistical maps of the United States, based on census data. The first map shows the average yield of oats, by number of bushels per acre, in the U.S. in 1890. The second map shows the average production of oats, by number of bushels per capita, in the U.S. in 1890. Both maps label half of Oklahoma as "Indian Territory" and show much of the western U.S. as unsettled area. Very good condition with some toning of the antique paper, as well as some very minor paper loss at the outer edges of the page. By Henry Gannett, in The Statistical Atlas of the United States- Eleventh Census, 1898. Measures approximately 17.75" x 13" to include both maps and their titles. (Note: These two maps can be separated, if desired. Please contact us if this is of interest.)
