Antique map of Boston and Roxbury, Massachusetts, by G.W. Bromley & Co., in their "Atlas of the City of Boston," c. 1890. Map includes ward numbers, street names, railroads, and points of interest. Originally intended for use as an index map, it is colored and labeled to indicate each location's plate in the atlas. Key at the bottom right is for the rest of the maps that would be contained in the atlas. Center fold, as issued. Very good antique condition with mild toning throughout, areas of minor soiling/foxing, and some roughing of the outer edges. Measures approximately 18" x 28" to the neatline, with the map extending beyond the neatline at both sides.
