Antique hand-colored map from the Atlas of the County of Suffolk, Massachusetts. Vol. 3rd including South Boston and Dorchester published by G.M. Hopkins & Co. in 1874. This map shows part of Boston near South Station as it was in 1874 with property owners' names and businesses labeled. Includes Dover Street, Albany Street, Beach Street, Federal Street, and a sub plan of part of Dorcester near Norfolk Street and Milton Ave. Boston and Albany Railroad and other railroad properties. Original hand-coloring. Very good condition with mild toning that is darker at the paper edges, some tiny spots. Measures approx. 15 x 24 inches to the neatline.
