Antique printed color map of the area around the tip of Manhattan including part of New York City, Brooklyn, New York Bay, Jersey City, Hoboken, Bayonne, and Newark Bay, part of Queens, Staten Island, Flatbush, and more. By Julius Bien, 1890, from the "Atlas of the Metropolitan District and adjacent country..." This map shows roads, railways, ferry lines, parks, marsh land, and delineates counties, cities, and some neighborhoods. Fair antique condition with water stain at center, seam separation at bottom, and some wear on the paper edges, including some small repaired tears. Should look good when framed. Measures approx. 19.75 x 31.5 inches to the black border line (neatline).
