Antique printed color map of Buzzards Bay and the surrounding area published in 1916 by the American Bank Note Co. and New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad. Copyrighted by the Wynkoop Hallenbeck Crawford Co. This map was published in a travel booklet that depicts the Buzzards Bay area as an ideal vacation destination and the map is still attached to the booklet as the center fold page. The booklet includes printed photographs, illustrations, and visitor information. The map includes trail routes and shows the area from Providence and Narragansett to Cape Cod with Boston, Newport, New Bedford, and Fairhaven. Very good antique condition with staples (rusted) at the center fold (as issued) and three vertical folds (as issued). The total dimensions for the map are 8.5 x 16 inches to the paper edges.
