Antique black and white map showing Jamaica. By Emanuel Bowen, 1747. Shows roads, towns, churches, sugar works, indigo works, cocoa walks, and more. Some topography depicted pictorially. Two inset maps: A Draught of the Harbours of Port Antonio & St Francis on the North East Coast of Jamaica; A Draught of Port Royal or Kingston Harbour in Jamaica. These harbor insets have water depths. This map is in very good restored condition, has been cleaned and rebacked. Tears and paper loss have ben repaired but are still slightly visible. Measures approx. 13.5 x 16.75 inches to neatline.
