Antique uncolored map of Egypt, focusing on the mouths of the Nile River, and surrounding areas. This map is part of a multi-volume "Description of Egypt," comissioned by Napoleon, and published by Ambroise Tardieu, c. 1820. With fold, as issued. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with areas of very mild foxing, and a tear at the right edge (which does not continue into the map itself.) Measures approximately 7" x 11.25" to the neatline.
