Hand colored engraved antique map of Santo Domingo (Hispaniola), site of present-day Haiti and Dominican Republic, and also including the islands of Inagua and the Turks and Caicos and the eastern tip of Cuba, showing excellent detail of rivers, mountains, shoals and reefs, and handsome cartouche, created the year before De L'Isle's death. Very good condition, some soiling and margin toning, measures 18.75 x 24.5 inches. **SOLD**
