Antique uncolored map of part of the western coast of Africa by Bellin from the Histoire Generale des Voyages, 1757. Shows the areas that are now Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Angola with Luanda, the Congo River, and the Cuanza River. Much of the center of Africa had not been explored by Europeans at this time. Very good condition with some minor image transfer, slightly tight margins. Folds as issued. Approx. 9.25 x 12 inches to the neatline.
