Antique map by Jacques Bellin for La Harpe's "Abrege de l'Histoire generale des voyages", a French produced, small sized atlas that depicts many parts of the known world. This map includes some suspected passages across Greenland and also the coast line of the fictional island of Frislande appears at bottom. Some topography. Very good condition with a somewhat light print. Folds as issued. Some tape at top from the map having been framed previously. Measures approx. 7.5 x 10 inches to the neatline.
