Black and White Antique Map and Profile of Chile's Juan Fernandez Islands in the South Pacific, where Alexander Selkirk was marooned, and where Daniel Defoe subsequently placed his fictional hero, Robinson Crusoe in 1719 (for whom the largest island is now named). From "Histoire des Voyages" by Bellin/Prevost, 1755. Shows mountains, rivers and water bodies. Good to very good overall antique condition, with folds as issued, slight image transfer, and two small spots, 8 x 11 inches.
