Antique hand colored print of the Charaxes jasius (otherwise known as the Two-tailed Pasha or the Foxy Emperor Butterfly,) and its caterpillar. Very good condition with some toning and foxing of the antique paper. By James Duncan, Published in the "Foreign Butterflies" volume of William Jardine's "The Naturalist's Library" series, 1840. Page measures approximately 6.5" x 4.25".
