A tranquil city view from Charles River in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Woodcut engraving with recent hand-coloring. Back side has uncolored print titled "Boston Suburbs" with images of Brookline, Chestnut Hill Reservoir and Drive, Forest Hills, Centre St Roxbury, and Longfellow's Residence. Very good overall antique condition, image measures approx. 4.5 x 9.5 inches. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
