Genuine Antique Map

1900

Maker: Stadley.

Antique map of part of Cambridge, MA, from the Atlas of Middlesex County Vol 1, published by Geo. W. Stadley & Co., 1900. Includes Porter Square (then called Union Square), the area that is now the Radcliffe Quadrangle, Brattle street including the Longfellow property and what is now Lesley University, and more. Wards are delineated in green, buildings are colored by type. Some businesses and property owners are labeled, but most are numbered with a list of property owners printed by street on reverse side of the pages. Shows roads, railroads, bodies of water, public spaces, etc. Fair to good condition with wrinkles, mild folds, and overall toning that is darker at the paper edges. Should look nice when framed- some signs of age will still be visible. Measures approx. 21.5 x 31.5 inches to the paper edges.
