Antique pictorial map of Connecticut, by John Held Jr., issued in commemmoration of the state's tercentenary in 1935 by the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company. The map features illustrations throughout relating to historical events and a key to the map illustrations on the sides. On the verso is a historical description of the original 17 towns of Connecticut. Good antique condition with wear along the folds and small separations at the fold intersections. Measures approx. 17 x 22.75 inches to the outside of the decorative border. Total sheet dimensions approx. 18 x 31.75 inches.
