Maker: Lester / Williams / Heliotype Printing Company

Antique map of Woodstock, Connecticut CT, printed by the Heliotype Printing Company. The map was made by Lester in 1883 and when printed in 1886, additions in red by George Clinton Williams were overlayed. Lester's original map in black and white showed roads, buildings, property owners' names, woods, hills, rivers, ponds, swamps, etc. Williams' additions provide the names of many locations and some historical information. This map was mounted on linen and folded. It is in fair to good antique condition with wear along the folds including some paper separation with the linen visible, also some wrinkling of the old paper. Measures approx. 23.75 x 27.75 inches to the neatline.
