Antique woodcut engraving of three views of the shores of Connecticut, from William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Recent hand-coloring. They include "Norwalk from River," "Oyster Boats, Roton Point," and "View from Wilsons Point." Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned. This piece measures 9.5 x 6.5 inches and is in Very good overall antique condition.
