This antique, hand-colored map was published in the 1872 "New Topographical Atlas of the State of Pennsylvania with Descriptions Historical, Scientific, and Statistical," by Walling and Gray. This map shows counties, major cities, geological formations, and details railroad stations and post offices. Clinton County includes the towns of Allison, Bald Eagle, Beech Creek, Castanea, Chapman, Colebrook, Crawford, Dunnstable, East Keating, Gallagher, Greene, Grugan, Lamar, Leidy, Logan, Noyes, Pine Creek, Porter, Wayne, West Keating, and Woodward. Centre County includes the towns of Benner, Boggs, Burnside, College, Curtin, Gregg, Haines, Halfmoon, Harris, Howard, Huston, Liberty, Marion, Miles, Patton, Penn, Potter, Rush, Snow Shoe, Spring, Taylor, Union, Walker, and Worth. This map is in very good antique condition overall, with some minor toning mostly at the paper edges. It measures approximately 17.5 x 14 inches.
