Antique hand colored page of maps showing "Abessinia and the Adjacent Countries" (portions of present-day Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Sudan, etc.) and part of Central Africa. Maps include topographical details, etc. and are surrounded by hand colored, decorative vignettes inspired by the region. Good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, a few areas of very minor foxing, and some roughing of the outer edges of the paper. Page measures approximately 18.5" x 12.75" (H x W) overall.
