Antique hand-colored map from Mitchell's 1885 New General Atlas. Shows railroads, political boundaries, cities, water bodies, as well as land features. Includes towns with names. Colored by county. Inset map of Galveston and Vicinity. Also shows New Mexico and Oklahoma with early counties. This map is in good antique condition with minor overall toning that is darker at the paper edges. Separation at bottom along fold has been archivally repaired. Paper is a bit fragile. It measures approximately 14.25 x 21 inches to the outer neatline.
