Antique hand-colored map of Cornwall, a historic county and ceremonial county in South West England, by Robert Morden, first published in 1695 and again in 1722. This map is undated and it is unclear in which edition of Camden's "Britannia: Or a Chorographical Description of Great Britain and Ireland Together with the Adjacent Islands..." this map was published. It shows towns, villages, country estates, roads, and more. Topographic information is depicted pictorially. Elegant hand coloring and a handsome cartouche. Very good antique condition with minor signs of age, such as toning. Center fold as issued. Measures approx. 14.25 x 16.75 inches to the neatline. Map is matted but the mat is not archival and should be changed when framing.
