Antique map of Rome published in Neue Sammlung der merkwürdigsten Reisegeschichten, insonderheit der bewährtesten Nachrichten von den Ländern und Völkern des ganzen Erdkreises, 1766. The title translate to "The Site and Circumstances of the City of Rome Enlarged by the Caesars" and the publication translates to "New collection of the most remarkable travel stories, especially the most reliable reports from the countries and peoples of the whole world." Shows the locations of various circuses, mausoleum, and amphitheater. Good to very good antique condition with minor stains and signs of age, small tear on left side, tight margin on right. Measures approx. 10.5 x 11.75 inches to the neatline.
