Antique map of the Kingdom of Bohemia, now Czechia, from a composite atlas circa 1775. A composite atlas is an atlas made up of a selection of previously issued maps. The full title translates to "The Kingdom of Bohemia (Divided into 17 CIRCLES or PREFECTURES with Part of MISNIA, SILESIA, and MORAVIA, etc.) Taken from the best authors BY IB NOLIN, GEOGRAPHER ORDINARY TO THE KING, 1742" This map has original hand-coloring and shows cities, towns, villages, rivers, topographic detail, etc. With Prague at the very center and other cities including Dresden (Germany), Freistadt (Austria), and Glatz (Poland). Good to very good antique condition with some minor stains in the margins. Measures approx. 17.25 x 21.25 inches to the neatline.
