Antique printed color sheet of two statistical maps of the United States, based on census data. The first map shows the density of the distribution of the population of natives of the Germanic Nations in the U.S. in 1890. The second map shows the proportion of the population of natives of Germanic Nations as compared to the aggregate population of the U.S. in 1890. Very good condition with some mild toning of the antique paper. By Henry Gannett, in The Statistical Atlas of the United States- Eleventh Census, 1898. Measures approximately 17.75" x 13" to include both maps and their titles. (Note: These two maps can be separated, if desired. Please contact us if this is of interest.)
