Surrounded by exquisitely detailed engraved illustrations and vignettes, as well as statistical and general information. 

Ardèche is a department in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Southeastern France. The principal towns or communes are Annonay, Aubenas, Tournon-sur-Rhône, Guilherand-Granges, Le Teil, Privas, Bourg-Saint-Andéol, and Saint-Péray.
