Antique uncolored map of the southern Hemisphere, showing N. Hollande (Australia), N. Zelande (New Zealand), Terre de Diemens (Tasmania) with incomplete coastlines according to the knowledge of the time. New Guinea is connected to Australia and only a few lines of Terre Australe suggest the South Pole. Published in Desription de L'Univers... by Allain Manesson Mallet, 1683. Very good antique condition with some smudges in the margins. Measures approx. 8.5 x 5.5 inches to the paper edges. **SOLD**
