Antique printed color comparative illustration of the heights of buildings "of the Old World." Includes a key at the bottom of the map to identify each building. Printed color of each building represents its building materials (e.g. Red indicates Brick, Yellow indicates gold, etc.). At this time (map published in 1893), the Eiffel Tower was the tallest man-made structure in the world. Very good condition with some slight overall toning. By Gaskell, 1893, original atlas unknown.
