Antique geological chart of the layers of earth as well as an apparent chart of evolution (Origin of Species was not yet published but theories of evolutions written by others were already in existence). Note the various animals and the "Central Fire?" at bottom. Comes with a descriptive page. From The Diamond Atlas, The Western Hemisphere, by Charles Colby and published by Morse and Gaston, 1857. Very good condition with some overall mild toning, and some tiny spots. Page measures approx. 7.25 x 5.75 inches. **SOLD**
