Antique hand colored maps from Mitchell's 1884 New General Atlas. The Centerfold map is the state of Pennsylvania, colored by county. On the back side is a map of New Jersey on one side, and four maps of cities in PA on the other side. State maps show political boundaries, cities, water bodies, as well as land features. Includes towns with names. Colored by county. City maps: Harrisburg, Williamsport, Erie, and Scranton. This map is in very good antique condition with minor overall toning. Paper is a bit fragile. Centerfold map measures approximately 14.25 x 21 inches to the outer neatline. New Jersey map measures approx. 14.5 x 11.25 inches to the neatline. City maps measure approx. 14.5 x 8.25 inches to the outer neatline around all four maps.
