Antique printed color coastal report chart of the eastern end of Long Island, New York, by the US Geological Survey and published in Shaler's 1893 The Geological History of Harbors. Includes Peconic Bay, Gardiners Bay, Napeague Bay, Shelter Island, Gardiner's Island, Plum Island, Montauk Point, Fishers Island, Block Island Sound, etc. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, areas of minor foxing, and some creasing/edge wear- specifically along the left edge of the paper. Map measures approximately 5.75" x 8.25" (H x W) to the neatline.
