Antique map from the Atlas to Barclay's Universal English Dictionary, Newly Revised by B.B. Woodward, published by Virtue & Company circa 1850. Undated. With an exquisitely detailed border featuring architectural details, local edifices, coats of arms, and a Reference to the Hundreds. This map includes part of London, the Westminster Bridge, Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace. Very good antique condition, backed on fabric with some minor spots and stains mostly at the paper edge. Measures approx. 11 x 8.5 inches to the paper edges.
