Antique map of Vienna, Austria. Maker unknown. We believe it to be c. 1850s although we do not see any railroads, so it could be earlier. A handsome depiction of the city with the old city walls prominently visible and what appears to be a large ring of park between the outer and inner cities where the Ringstrasse was later created (1865). Many of the streets are labeled. A numbered key in the lower right gives the names of the suburbs. Good to very good condition. Mild foxing, a vertical fold, a few small darker spots. Measures approx. 12 x 12.5 inches to the neatline.
