Antique map showing the Thuringian States, from The Times Atlas, published by "The Times" in 1900. Features an inset map of the North-Western Thuringian Wald. Each of the Thuringian States are designated by color; Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Saxe-Meiningen, Saxe-Altenburg, Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, Schwarzburg-Sondershausen, Reuss older Line, and Reuss younger Line. Castles and other structures of interest are marked, along with railways, canals and high roads. Town are denoted according to population. Original printed color. Very good antique condition with minor foxing and some faint staining in the margins. Measures approximate 9.25 by 14.375 inches, as measured to neatline.
