Antique map of Dordogne, France, with hand colored details, published by A. Vuillemin, 1871. Included around the map is an illustrated portrait of Francois Fenelon, a Catholic archbishop and writer born in the region, the coat of arms of Perigueux, an illustration showing a view of Perigueux from the water, and an illustration of the Chateau de Bannes. Very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper throughout and some spots of minor foxing/soiling, mainly concentrated outside the neatline. Measures approximately 8.75" x 6.75" to the neatline.
