Antique hand colored map of Europe, published by Fayard in the "Atlas Universel," 1877. Yellow indicates "oceanic slope" and pink indicates "Mediterranean slope" referring to the directions of the rivers. Map is written in French and includes topographical detail. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, and some minor foxing. Measures approximately 10.25" x 7.75" to the neatline.
