Antique black and white print showing a scene on Fresh Pond in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Includes a passage of text below the image. Image is in very good condition with some mild toning/foxing of the paper. From William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Image measures approximately 6.25" x 6". Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
