Antique hand colored map of Ancient Gaul (now mostly France), written in Latin. Reference for scale is given in Roman Miles. Includes an inset map of the delta of the Rhine River. Map is in good condition with some toning/foxing of the paper, as well as some mild seam separation. Map by Dr. Samuel Butler, published in An Atlas of Ancient Geography, 1838. Measures approximately 7.25" x 9.25" to the neatline.
