Antique uncolored map by Hondius, c. 1636. This map shows cities, towns, rivers, forests, mountains, and more. Includes the Geneva, Grenoble, the Piemont and southern Switzerland, including Mont Blanc, St. Anton, Val D'Isre and an area with many modern day ski resorts near the French, Swiss and Italian borders. Very good restored condition - map has been cleaned and deacidified and tears repaired. Tears and wrinkles are still visible but minor. Measures approx. 15 x 19.5 inches to the neatline.
