Antique hand colored map of Genoa, Italy, showing all major public buildings and piazzas, the city wall, parks, and harbor. Has a trompe l'oeil inset map titled "Sketch of the Outworks". At bottom is a comparative sketch showing the heights of the major buildings and monuments of the city. Very good overall antique condition, original color, dated 1836 (may have been published later) under the Superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. Map measures approx. 10.75 x 14.75 inches to the neatline.
